Living by the water in Florida we are blessed to see these beautiful herons flying everywhere. They seem totally unaware of everyone around them. You see them perched on the bridges and light poles staring off into space. I'm always amazed by their beauty.

It just breaks my heart when I see these majestic birds with fishing line and hooks in their beaks and wrapped around their legs. Can you just imagine what it would be like to live with with these things hanging off of you everyday and no way to remove them? 

I wish there was something we could do to help these poor birds. Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be done?
